USF Charter School USF was the first public university in the country to establish a charter school. University of South Florida Charter School incorporates diverse teaching methods, a comprehensive interdisciplinary curriculum, on-going assessment of student progress, and a strong parent involvement component to build resiliency and empower at-risk students in K-3 population. Dedicated to the belief that all children can learn and located in the USF area, the school provides a comprehensive educational program to support, encourage, and nurture at-risk children and their families.
