PRIDE Alliance services include:

General Discussion Groups
The Alliance gathers weekly to inform about ongoing projects, review events that affect our community and finally provide a comfortable environment for discussions dealing with homosexuality, college life, and any other relevant topics.  Meeting times are posted regularly in our calendar of events, the Oracle and in flyers around campus. Anyone is welcome to participate.

Speaker's Bureau
The Speaker's Bureau is an educational service which provides speakers to groups that want to know more  about homosexuality.
The speakers sent by PRIDE Alliance are homosexual college students from all walks of life. In the past, most discussions about homosexuality were conducted by heterosexual "experts" trying to prove one thing or another about our lives. The Alliance believes that homosexuals are the best authorities on what it is like to be a homosexual. The speakers are honest in discussing their lives.
The discussions by members of PRIDE Alliance are friendly and freeform. Generally, speakers offer short, personal statements about themselves and their lives. They share experiences, instances of prejudice and knowledge of how they grew to understand and accept their homosexuality as an important, proud part of their lives. Audience participation is encouraged. Everyone has questions about homosexuality.
Any instructor may request a session during a class period. If you are interested in being a speaker or requesting a session for your class please contact us for more information.
